Last updated: May 26, 2026
This Copyright / DMCA Policy explains how SiteEngine Web Services LLC, a Florida limited liability company, doing business as SiteEngine, North Georgia Web, and North Florida Web (“SiteEngine,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement and related intellectual-property complaints.
This policy applies to websites, hosting services, managed WordPress services, client websites, user generated content, support channels, domain-related services, and other services operated, hosted, maintained, or supported by SiteEngine.
This policy supplements the SiteEngine Terms of Service, User Agreement, Acceptable Use Policy, User Generated Content Terms of Service, Privacy Notice, Legal Contacts and Data Requests Policy, and any applicable quote, invoice, proposal, statement of work, or signed agreement.
1. Respect for Intellectual Property
SiteEngine respects intellectual-property rights and expects its customers, users, contractors, vendors, and website visitors to do the same.
You may not use SiteEngine services to host, publish, transmit, distribute, display, link to, promote, or otherwise make available content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, publicity rights, privacy rights, software licenses, or other proprietary rights.
SiteEngine may remove, disable, restrict, or suspend access to content, websites, accounts, or services that appear to infringe intellectual-property rights or violate SiteEngine policies.
2. DMCA Notices
If you believe that content hosted, published, or made available through SiteEngine services infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”).
You may submit copyright complaints through SiteEngine’s legal contact channels or through the appropriate form on our contact page:
Contact forms: https://siteengine.io/terms/contacts/
DMCA email: dmca@siteengine.io
Legal email: legal@siteengine.io
For faster handling, use the contact page form category that best fits your request, such as Complaints or Report Abuse. For legal process or formal records requests, use the Records Request option where applicable.

A DMCA notice should include the following information:
- Your full legal name and, if applicable, the name of the copyright owner you represent.
- Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or other specific location of the material you claim is infringing.
- Information reasonably sufficient for SiteEngine to locate the allegedly infringing material.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

5. Action on DMCA Notices
After receiving a valid DMCA notice, SiteEngine may remove, disable, restrict, suspend, or otherwise limit access to the allegedly infringing material.
SiteEngine may notify the customer, account owner, website owner, user, or other party responsible for the affected content.
SiteEngine may provide the responsible party with a copy of the DMCA notice, including the complainant’s contact information, where appropriate or required.
SiteEngine may also suspend or terminate services where content creates legal risk, abuse risk, repeat-infringer concerns, or violation of SiteEngine policies.
6. Counter-Notices
If your content was removed or disabled because of a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was based on mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice.
A counter-notice should include:
- Your full legal name.
- Your mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Identification of the material that was removed or disabled and the location where it appeared before removal or disabling.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for your judicial district, or if your address is outside the United States, to the jurisdiction of a federal district court serving Florida.
- A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice or that person’s agent.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
Counter-notices may be sent to dmca@siteengine.io, legal@siteengine.io, or through the appropriate form at https://siteengine.io/terms/contacts/.
7. Action on Counter-Notices
If SiteEngine receives a valid counter-notice, SiteEngine may forward it to the party that submitted the original DMCA notice.
SiteEngine may restore the removed or disabled material if the original complainant does not notify SiteEngine that it has filed a court action seeking to restrain the alleged infringement within the time period required by law.
SiteEngine may decline to restore material if restoration would violate law, court order, registrar policy, platform policy, third-party terms, SiteEngine policies, or create legal, security, abuse, or operational risk.
8. Repeat Infringers
SiteEngine may terminate or restrict accounts, websites, users, or services of repeat infringers where appropriate.
SiteEngine may also terminate or restrict services where a customer repeatedly receives credible infringement complaints, repeatedly publishes infringing material, refuses to remove infringing material, or uses SiteEngine services in a way that creates intellectual-property risk.
SiteEngine may consider the number, frequency, nature, credibility, and outcome of infringement complaints when evaluating repeat-infringer status.
9. Trademark and Non-Copyright Complaints
This DMCA process applies specifically to copyright claims.
Trademark complaints, trade name complaints, impersonation complaints, counterfeit complaints, right-of-publicity complaints, privacy complaints, and other intellectual-property complaints may be submitted through the SiteEngine contact page or by emailing SiteEngine.
Complaints and abuse reports: https://siteengine.io/terms/contacts/
Abuse/Security: abuse@siteengine.io
Legal: legal@siteengine.io
SiteEngine may request supporting documentation before taking action on non-copyright complaints.
10. Abuse Reports
If your concern involves phishing, malware, spam, credential theft, impersonation, fraud, unauthorized access, abusive content, or other security or abuse issues, use the Report Abuse option on the SiteEngine contact page or email abuse@siteengine.io.
Abuse reports should include the affected URL, domain, IP address if known, screenshots, message headers where applicable, timestamps, and a description of the issue.
SiteEngine may investigate abuse reports under the Acceptable Use Policy, Anti-SPAM Policy, Domain Name Dispute Policy, Email and Messaging Terms, or other applicable policies.
11. Records Requests
Requests for records, account information, logs, customer information, legal process, subpoenas, preservation requests, or law-enforcement requests should be submitted through the Records Request option on the SiteEngine contact page or sent to legal@siteengine.io.
SiteEngine may require valid legal process, identity verification, account verification, proof of authority, or additional information before disclosing records.
Records requests are also governed by the SiteEngine Data Request Policy and Legal Contacts and Data Requests Policy.
12. Misrepresentations
Submitting false, misleading, fraudulent, or bad-faith DMCA notices, counter-notices, abuse reports, trademark complaints, or records requests may result in legal liability.
You are responsible for damages, costs, attorneys’ fees, and other consequences arising from misrepresentations or improper claims.
SiteEngine may reject or disregard notices, complaints, or requests that appear fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, unverifiable, overbroad, retaliatory, or submitted in bad faith.
13. Customer Responsibility
SiteEngine customers are responsible for the content they host, publish, upload, provide, approve, or authorize.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that website content, images, videos, fonts, software, plugins, themes, documents, downloads, trademarks, reviews, testimonials, and other materials are lawful and properly licensed.
Customers agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless SiteEngine from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, penalties, fines, costs, and expenses arising from customer content, user generated content, intellectual-property claims, copyright claims, trademark claims, or failure to remove infringing material.
